How to Enroll for Aadhar

Follow these instructions to complete your Aadhar card enrollment process:

  1. Find the nearest Aadhar enrollment center by selecting your state, district, and area.
  2. Visit the enrollment center with your required documents, including a photograph and biometric details.

How to Download E-Aadhar

  1. To download your Aadhar card, ensure your mobile number is linked with your Aadhar. Once you enter your Aadhar number, an OTP will be sent to your linked mobile number. After entering the OTP, you can download the card.
  2. For individuals whose mobile numbers are not linked or who don't have a mobile, the Aadhar card can be downloaded through biometric verification at a Seva Kendra or CSC center

What is the E-Aadhar Card Password?

When you download your Aadhar card, it is secured with a password. This default password is created by combining the first four letters of your name and your year of birth. Below are some examples:

  • Example 1: Name: ANSHIKA SINGH, Year of Birth: 1985, Password: ANSH1985
  • Example 2: Name: VIVEK SHARMA, Year of Birth: 1992, Password: VIVE1992
  • Example 3: Name: NIKHIL VERMA, Year of Birth: 1995, Password: NIKH1995
  • Example 4: Name: PRIYA RANI, Year of Birth: 2000, Password: PRIA2000

If you forget your Enrollment Number or Aadhar Number, use the Find UID option.

How to Make Online Corrections in Aadhar

If you notice any errors in your Aadhar card after it has been generated, you can use the following steps for online correction:

  1. Visit the Aadhar correction portal or the nearest enrollment center.
  2. Submit the required documents to rectify the errors.
  3. Once the corrections are made, wait for a few days and download the updated E-Aadhar card.
